What seems like a yearly tradition, Jordan Brand will release a new Air Jordan 9 colorway to start the new year. Dropping in 2022, we have the Air Jordan 9 ‘Particle Grey’ pair.

The color blocking resembles that of a ‘Baron’ release. However, due to the addition of Red, the pair doesn’t have unofficial ties to the team.

This Air Jordan 9 comes dressed in a Black, University Red, Particle Grey, and White color combination. Although the image used is a rendering, it is an accurate representation of what’s releasing. Constructed with nubuck and leather, Black lands on the upper along with Dark Grey on the pipping, which could be 3M reflective. Next, Particle Grey runs across the lower part of the panels, wraps the toe, heel, and covers most of the midsole. Lastly, we have Red on the tongue and heel branding with White on most of the outsole.
